Guinea Fowl Self Catering Cottage, the middle of the three EarthStone Cottages, is so named after the many helmeted guinea fowl that wander the Sanctuary that is Amohela ho Spitskop.

 The cottages are built far apart for complete seclusion and privacy so rare today in an overcrowded world. This cottage is spacious and comfortably and tastefully furnished, with big comfy couches, a huge open fire, a kitchen fully equipped with stove, microwave, family size fridge, cooking utensil, good quality cutlery and crockery and a weber braai on the deck. The double sized bedrooms are en suite with pampering large bathrooms and are heated for chilly winters. The one bedroom has a king sized bed with beautiful percale linen, duvets made for cuddling comfortably, heated blankets for chilly weather, and the room leads out through French doors onto the covered deck with views to take your breath away. The second double bedroom has single beds, cuddly winter sheets for chilly weather, and this room too leads out onto the covered deck with yes, those views. Five guests can be accommodated.

Daily servicing is available. 

Safe ample parking is provided behind the cottage and WiFi is available at the reception area.

Bring your work on holiday - – A Wonderful Work Pod – We now offer a classically 'Free State' workspace for digital nomads, remote workers, and anyone looking for a quiet, remote, yet digitally connected place to work. Work Pod is open to guests booked into our cottages whilst long work periods are available for hire on an exclusive basis.
