This beautiful 164 hectare ReWilded Highlands Retreat is very special – there has been no sprays, chemical fertilizers, destructive tilling for 20 years – the carbon is sequestered beneath our feet – indigenous and native plants proliferate – serval, porcupine, wart hogs and aardvark have returned to this once barren place - there are some 35 species of butterflies - dragon flies – bees.
Helichrysum Odoratissimum - one of Earths most magical healers - is in full flower mid December.
For each lovely guest there will be a complimentary Imphepho bath salts & a bottle of dried Imphepho tea & 2 Imphepho smudge healing body wands.
We will use smudge body wands throughout the weekend so you can become acquainted - if you have not used these beautiful cleansing - healing wands before - a wonderful experience awaits.

Takes 6/7 people in great comfort – safe parking behind cottage. Very private and secluded.
- Guinea Fowl Cottage & Porcupine Cottages : Fully equipped for self catering – with 2 double en suite bedrooms – large open plan living/dining – fully equipped kitchen with stove, microwave, good fridge, well stocked cutlery and crockery, huge open fire, weber braai on the covered deck, incredible views across the valley. Each take 4/5 people in great comfort – safe parking behind the cottage. Very private and secluded.
- Quail & Francolin Cottages: Fully equipped for self catering – gas stove, microwave, good fridge, well stocked with cutlery and crockery - designed for just two people in quietness and seclusion – very spacious, combustion fire with lounge area, weber braai on the covered deck with incredible views across the valley. Safe parking next to cottage.

- Saturday morning :
- At 10:00am : Meet at Dassie Guest House - Have a cup of Helichrysum Tea and slice of cake while we have a discussion around the healing qualities of this amazing plant.
- Listen to the magical singing sounds of the helichrysum plant through a BambooM - we will wander through the Helichrysum Odoratissimum fields - you will pick your own Helichrysum Tea and become familiar with this magical healing plant - then we will sit and listen - to the lessons - of one of the most treasured plants of Africa.
Break for lunch, then take a wander up the ancient pathway that leads up into the iconic small mountain - where there are pathways and quiet meditation areas - a Look Out.
Relax around the revamped reservoir - have a cooling dip in clean fresh borehole water and enjoy the awesome 360 degree views.
Late afternoon - Shasta will lead you in a Yoga session in the Helichrysum fields - and a sunset meditation - to the sound of the Helichrysum Plant singing.
Saturday evening join us around the fire pit for fragrant helichrysum burning - a bar is available.
A buffet supper of unctuously beautiful organic food prepared by Shasta.
Sunday Early Morning - Shasta will lead you in a Sunrise Yoga session in the Helichrysum Fields - with meditation to the sounds of the song of the helichrysum
